We will not process your personal data for any purpose other than that stated in this privacy statement or purposes that are compatible therewith. In addition, your personal information will not be stored for longer than is necessary for these purposes, unless a legal provision obligates us to store it or further process it.

Request information

You can request information about Van Dijk and our products on our website. You can use our contact form to do this. On the form, we ask for your name, your phone number and your email address. The basis for these processing operations is consent. We will send you an email confirming your information request, after which we will contact you by telephone or email in order to provide you with the best possible service.

Newsletter and offers

You can choose to receive exclusive offers and newsletters by email. So that you can receive these newsletters, we ask for your email address. The basis for these processing operations is consent. If you have chosen to receive these offers from Van Dijk, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email, or by sending an email to that effect to info@vandijk-staircasesolutions.com. After your consent has been withdrawn, we will delete your email address as soon as possible, but no later than within two weeks.

If you are a customer of ours, we can send you offers related to our products and services. We do not need consent for this. With each offer, however, you can always indicate that you no longer wish to receive them. The basis for this is legitimate interest.

Work at Van Dijk

You can apply for open positions at Van Dijk via our website by using the appropriate forms. The details you provide will only be used for recruitment and selection purposes, to assess whether you are suitable for the vacant position. To apply, you must provide your first and last name, your phone number and email address, and upload your CV and cover letter via the website or send it by email to Personeel@vandijk-staircasesolutions.com for the attention of Britt Ariaans. We may conduct our own research via public sources such as social media to get a good picture of you. After the application procedure, your data will be deleted within four weeks, unless you give consent for your data to be stored for one year after the procedure has ended. The basis for the processing of personal data is consent and legitimate interest.

(Telephone) customer service

When you have contact via telephone with our customer service, information about this contact may be stored, for example by recording your comment, question or complaint so that we can continue to be of service to you at a later time. Your telephone conversations with our customer service may also be recorded. You will also be informed about this at the start of the phone call and before the recording starts. The recordings are used for training purposes and as proof of the conclusion of an agreement or other arrangement that has been made. The phone calls are deleted after they are no longer needed for these purposes.

If you become a customer with us, we will process your first and last name, your address details, your email address and your phone number so that we can provide you with our products and services and maintain contact with you. You will also receive a customer number, so that we can provide you with better and faster service via our customer service. We log any complaints about our products or services in order to be of service to you.

The basis for the processing of personal data is consent, performance of the agreement and/or legitimate interest.

Order portal and orders

In order to make quotations, process orders and deliver products and services, Van Dijk needs your first and last name, company name, Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number, address details, telephone number, VAT number and email address. Quotations are sent by email or by post. We may also contact you by telephone or email to inform you about the sales process. You can also place orders via our online order portal. The basis for the processing of your personal data is consent or the performance of an agreement. We store your personal data for seven years, unless other legal retention periods apply.

Cookies and other technologies

Every time you visit our website, we automatically log certain data, which we store in log files. These log files may contain the following data:

You will receive a response to your request within a maximum of one month. Persons under 16 years of age

Our website is not intended to be used or visited by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect information from users and/or visitors in this age range. As soon as we discover that we are processing information from a child under the age of 16 without parental consent, we aim to delete this information as soon as possible.
