New profiling machine operational

For years, Van Dijk has been producing laminate which is 100% identical to the decors for the stairs. However, applying the click connection was done by an external party. In cooperation with leading supplier HOMAG, an extremely compact profiling machine has been developed, which will allow Van Dijk to fully control production by 2023. For the connection, the Uniclick 2G fall-down concept was chosen. This has been a very high-quality, proven and installation-friendly click connection for laminate flooring since the second half of the 1990s.

Optimal quality

The aim is to bring and keep the quality of the click connection at an optimum level. By carrying out the process entirely in-house, a constant top quality of our laminate floors and continuous outflow can be guaranteed. Meanwhile, the first new laminate floors have been produced and we are working hard to build up our stock. In addition, we are in the final stages of tests to be able to provide the continuous walk-out treads with a perfectly fitting click connection as well.

We expect to have the first products available by the end of the first quarter of 2023. These will gradually replace the old laminates.
